RAA PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Regional Architecture Association's event 'MiCRO - exploring the big ideas behind small spaces’ will be photographed and filmed for the promotional and educational purposes of the organisation. By attending, you confirm that you consent to yourself being photographed/filmed for this purpose. If you have any concerns about this, please contact Rhiannon on info@regionalarchtecture.net.au

IMPORTANT ITEMS TO BRING
Please ensure you BYO a reusable coffee cup and water bottle. Also bring your own paper and pen or electronic device to record your CPD learnings. And come prepared with sun protection as meal beaks will be outdoors and it’s set to be warm!

CAR POOLING
As always, RAA encourages car-pooling and is happy to assist members to find each other. If interested in carpooling let us know where you’re staying by emailing info@regionalarchitecture.net.au and we can put you in contact with others similarly located (note that by choosing this option you’re allowing us to pass on your email and/or phone details).

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
If you forgot to advise us of any dietary requirements on registration through Humanitix, please let us know ASAP by emailing info@regionalarchtecture.net.au

CPD
There will be a total of 6 formal CPD points available across Friday 15th March. The relevant performance criteria are published here and RAA will provide all attendees with a certificate for formal CPD following the event. The Board of Architects requires participants maintain a record of learnings in relation to identified competencies and for these to be uploaded with the certificate.

Delegates can make their own assessment for informal CPD for fringe events.

RAA WHATSAPP FORUM
RAA members can stay in touch with each other during and after the event by joining the forum on WhatsApp. Link to join is available through the website’s member area.

THURSDAY INFO.

The 3:00-4:00pm site visit to Alex Scheibner’s studio in Talerwin Forge is situated at 2232 Bylong Valley Way, Rylstone NSW 2849. Please stay away from bottom of driveway as this is a separate residential property. Please ensure COVERED TOED SHOES are worn and note that this site visit is BOOKED OUT with registration being checked at door.

The 5:00-6:30pm site visit to Gawthorne’s Hut is situated at 240 Edgell Lane, Buckaroo NSW 2850

The 7:00pm-late pub dinner (buy your own) is situated at the Lawson Park Hotel, 1 Church St, Mudgee NSW 2850 We will be gathered in the beer garden.

FRIDAY INFO.

Rosby Wines, Gallery & Scuplture Garden, where all Friday activities and gatherings will take place is situated at 122 Strikes Lane, Eurunduree NSW 2850. The speaker sessions will take place in a marquee on the Rosby estate a short walk from the gallery. Breaks and meals will be served outdoors.

SATURDAY INFO.

The 9:00-10:00am Guided Sculpture Walk starts at the Mudgee Regional Gallery in the Mudgee Arts Precinct, situated at 90 Market St, Mudgee NSW 2850

The 10:30-11:30am site visit to the Strikes Murcutt house is situated at 31 Strikes Lane, Eurunduree NSW 2850 Detailed directions will be given at close of Friday speaker sessions.

The 11:30am onwards wine tasting and lunch at Yeates Wines is situated at 138 Craigmoor Rd, Eurunduree NSW 2850

ACCESS INFO.

GETTING HERE, GETTING SETTLED AND GETTING AROUND
Mudgee is 268km North-West of Sydney - either a 3.5 hour drive or a 45 minute flight.

SELF-DRIVE AND STAY FREELY
This one is self-explanatory. Enjoy the drive and stay where you like then enjoy the flexibility of an extended weekend.

FLY + HIRE + STAY FREELY
Also pretty self-explanatory. Fly from Sydney – hire a car and stay where you like then enjoy the flexibility of an extended weekend.

FLY-IN + CAR POOL
Be it via your own network of co-members or through us helping you find a fellow traveller – we suggest car pooling for obvious social, economic and environmental reasons.
