REFLECTIONS partnership
RAA is pleased to be working with the Cobar Shire Council for our September event, a municipality that has demonstrated a strong and sustained commitment to investing in the community through infrastructure and place-based projects that strengthen liveability, participation, and local identity.
COBAR SHIRE COUNCIL
Through an ambitious capital works program, Cobar Shire Council has supported projects that enhance community gathering, sport and recreation, early childhood facilities, tourism, arts, and culture, while also contributing to community pride and economic resilience. A clear value is placed on thoughtful, high-quality design, with Council recognising that well-designed public buildings and spaces deliver lasting benefits for remote communities. This commitment was recently recognised with the President’s Award for Service to Regional Architecture at the 2026 NSW Regional Architecture Awards, acknowledging Council’s leadership in delivering ambitious, community-focused projects and championing design excellence in regional New South Wales.
