Join us in Sydney for cheese, drinks and a discussion panel to celebrate issue #1 of Field: Architecture Gone Regional. All welcome, please RSVP your attendance by Monday 16th February to info@regionalarchitecture.net.au or via the link below.

Produced by the Regional Architecture Association, Field reflects the regions we work in — their landscapes, communities, and creative energy. It celebrates projects that shape regional places, while sharing ideas and innovation from conversations with a broader audience. Field connects community, sparks dialogue, and honours the craft and care that define architecture in the regions.

The first issue spans themes as diverse as housing strategy, regional resilience, and the future of public works procurement. It delves into the material realities of practice — from hempcrete construction and prefabrication to the challenges of building in remote contexts — and offers perspectives that stretch from the East Coast to Central Australia. Through essays, project profiles, and conversations, it captures how architects, communities, and makers are shaping more responsive, resourceful, and connected regional places.
