RAA Honorary Membership Announcement

RAA invites members to nominate individuals who have made a significant contribution to the profession and architecture in the regions, whether in Australia or internationally. Successful nominees will be acknowledged through the presentation of an honorary membership.

Any current RAA member may nominate an individual for honorary membership by submitting the nomination form available in the member content area, outlining the reasons for nomination. Nominations must be supported by a second RAA member, who may provide their endorsement via email. Nominations will be reviewed by the RAA Committee at a scheduled committee meeting, and successful nominees will be formally invited to accept honorary membership by the Secretary. To ensure deserving individuals are not overlooked, the Committee will also undertake an annual review of potential honorary members who may not have been formally nominated. As with all RAA activities the nominees are to be assessed with no bias for gender, ethnicity or other irrelevant attributes.
