REFLECTIONS community dinner
Following the Thursday afternoon fringe events or for those newly arrived, please join us for the Community Dinner (buy your own) at Cobar’s historic Great Western Hotel.
GREAT WESTERN HOTEL
The Great Western Hotel Motel was built in 1898. Centrally located in the outback gold mining town of Cobar, the hotel is an iconic local landmark that serves as a popular stopover for travellers passing through. Its 100-metre long iron lace verandah is thought to be the longest of its kind in the Southern hemisphere.
Proud of their service and country hospitality, the Great Western Hotel offers comfortable accommodation, two bars and a restaurant, a beer garden, and a cafe.
