Session 04
Panel discussion and Q&A on security and resilience with Tim Elgood, Emma Healy and our speaker Stuart Vokes. This conversation will be led by co-creative director Sarah Aldridge.
Tim Elgood - Director / Sustainability & Regeneration Lead at ADP Consulting. A thought leader and specialist in sustainable master planning and engineering integrated with the environment, Tim is constantly pushing boundaries to deliver low energy, sustainable buildings and precincts. Tim is a Chartered Engineer whose expertise lies in the design of sustainable infrastructure for future climate change resilience. This includes unique knowledge of embodied carbon in buildings, emerging renewable technologies and integration of Country into design.
Emma Healy - Department of Housing and Public Works. Emma’s architectural experience spans a variety of typologies and scales including housing, healthcare, institutional and education sectors with a focus on community-led projects. Emma has researched the effective use of design guidelines in improving climate resilience and she is a tutor in Climate Futures at UQ. Emma has recently joined the team for Social and Affordable Housing at the Department of Housing and Public Works.
